Over 1600 Ocoee Middle School students participating in the filming of a flash mob dance to promote reading. Band director Nichole Nasrallah and guest star (and former chorus director) Jamie Perez sang “Gotta Keep Readin’” and a student band and dancers led the rest of the student body in crowd dance choreographed by theater director Gin Smith.
Janet Bergh, OCPS Reading Coach of the Year, created the video in partnership with Full Sail University, whose students filmed and will edit the finished video.
